Room Service

Step into the unsettling world of Room Service, a narrative horror game with psychological elements.

You play as Jacob White, a man in desperate need of a job who takes a position at an old, run-down motel. The tasks seem simple enough: clean and tidy up. But with each passing day, the fragile sense of normalcy begins to shatter.

Experience Jacob's Story

The events at the motel are told from Jacob's perspective as he recounts the strange and increasingly disturbing things that happened to him. The story unfolds through his eyes, complemented by subtle details like scattered newspaper articles, NPC conversations, and other clues Jacob uncovers during his work.

Atmospheric Horror

- Psychological tension: A growing sense of unease through eerie sounds and a dark, oppressive atmosphere.

- A mix of subtle and intense scares: Horror elements range from creeping dread to shocking moments, keeping the tension constant.

- Retro visuals: Inspired by VHS-style games with a touch of 90s retro aesthetics.

Your Job Becomes a Nightmare

- Interactive gameplay: Clean rooms, tidy up, and carry out basic repairs—until things start to go very wrong.

- Scripted horror: Every event is carefully crafted to immerse you in the unsettling story.

- No monsters, just fear: There’s no classic enemy chasing you. The threat is subtler, psychological, and always lingering.

Not bad for first attempt, but could be better regarding the voiceovers. But for indie game not bad!

Hey,

thanks for your honest review.

I'm actually planning on including real Voice Actors in my next game.

Best Regards,

Fynn(Zictorix)

Sounds good man, looking forward to it!
